Vocal

Vocal students at 腦瞳憫 study with outstanding faculty, Dr. Courtney Kalbacker and Dr. Marcel Ramalho. Our choral ensembles perform regularly both on and off campus, and include the University Singers, Chamber Singers, Opera Ensemble and Gospel Choir. In 2020, the choir and orchestra participated in the premiere of the Da Vinci Notebook by Jocelyn Hagen.  The AU Opera Ensemble gives performances of opera, music theatre, and/or operetta each year. AU Opera regularly performs American operas, operas for children, and classics of the canon, giving students and audiences a variety of musical experiences. The choral ensembles and opera ensemble are open to any AU student by audition or invitation.
