Examining Media Frames and Biases in Coverage of Transgendered Athletes

Researchers will analyze media coverage surrounding transgender athletes, to consider how their stories are often told and what language is used when relaying them to audiences. Researchers will then conduct a series of in-depth interviews with members of the transgender/nonbinary community, during which we will discuss the implications of these media frames and the need for unbiased representation.
